At this time, we can only accept checks (personal or business) or cash. If your employer will be paying by check, please send in (or fax) your completed registration form with a notation "employer to send payment." What's the difference between CEUs and PDPs page top

GSLISCE workshops are measured by Contact Hours. Each hour in the classroom (or online) equals one contact hour. Individual states and their school districts use different terms to record these contact hours.

In Massachusetts, ONE Contact Hour is equivalent to 0.1 CEUs (Continuing Education Units). It is also equivalent to 1.0 PDPs (Professional Development Points).

CEU - All enrolled attendees will receive a Certificate of Continuing Education Units from the instructor at the end of each workshop (online workshops attendees will have the certificates mailed to them).

PDP - Simmons College provides Professional Development Points according to the Massachusetts Department of Education requirements for certification revised as of 7/1/00. For those individuals who request PDPs for (re)certification, please contact our office to discuss your selection of workshops and to verify the number of PDPs offered.
